Officer Descriptions
Next year I will be selecting a Co-President, Communications Director, and an Activities Chair. Each officer will have a list of responsibilities that they will be in charge of throughout the year (SEE BELOW).

- Maintain a 3.5 GPA
- To set an example to all members of hard work, dedication, and a positive attitude during and outside of rehearsals, and performances. To complete duties assigned under each specific office. Work closely with each other and advisor on all aspects of Dance Company. To be reliable, dedicated, loyal, responsible, and professional when working with Dance Company members and the advisor. To make sure all rules and regulations are upheld and to report any conduct, complaints, uncooperative behavior or company problems to the advisor. The advisor will then administer discipline accordingly. Officers will work under the direction and approval of Mrs. Shumway in all Dance Company rehearsals, performances, and events.

Instructions for Running for Officer
Those interested in being considered for an officer must submit a letter of intent and resume by August 23rd. Each candidate’s resume should include a:
- Dance Company objective for the next school year, work experience, academic accomplishments, leadership qualities, and any dance, choreography, and performance experience.
- The letter of intent should be written to next year’s Dance Company addressing: Why you would like to be an officer and what you see accomplishing for the next school year. Include why the specific position is right for you. Include your plan to complete the specific responsibilities above under the title of office you are running for.
